Unlinking for Publication Purposes

Has anyone had to Unlink Citations for a publisher?

If so, how did you Re-link to make corrections? Is this possible without re-entering all your footnotes from scratch?

    Relinking citations is not easily possible once unlinked. You'd have to revert to an earlier copy of the document.

    The standard recommendation is to make a copy of the document right before sending and then unliking citations.

    Even if you get a modified doc back, you can use Word's merge feature to get the changes back into the (Zotero linked) original.
