Problems using Zotero Mac
I have been using Endnote Web but finding many glitches like not having the full reference added....leaves journal name off, or page numbers. Some of my colleagues like Zotero. I did download onto my Mac but have deleted now as I really couldn’t find my way around it. When I save a journal article, it goes into my downloads but I don’t seem to be able to get that into my library. With Endnote Web it was really easy. Which format do I save in? And why can’t it just download straight to my library?
I’d really appreciate some advice. Thanks

lucychantreyThank you, but this doesn’t tell me why it goes to desktop downloads on my MacBook. I’m running Mojave and I think there may be a problem with that?

bwiernikWhen you use the Save to Zotero button in your browser toolbar, as described at the link above, there is no way for Zotero to send it to your desktop. I think you must be clicking some sort of link on the page itself. That’s not the best way to add items to your library.
