i got in touch with the editorial committee of the journal. they explained that the authors are not requested to give a bibliography: they can, if they want.
this is non to vital, given that the citations in the text are in fact full descriptions of the used source. i asked nevertheless if they can give me a sample article with bibliography. as soon as they are back to me i make you know.
maurizio
the bibliography at the end of the text is not required.
this is the reason for the the complete description of the source in footnote.
so the style can consist in the management of the description of the source in the footnote only.
is it possible to build it?
best

i understand the point: you are as asking if in the sample citation can be added the (a cura di), am i right? because everything else is ok, but the lack of the "a cura di x and y" is relevant if the citation in footnote is the only form of description of the source
so that the form of the citation in footnote is not
Isabela Mares, [italic]Firms and the welfare state: When, why, and how does social policy matter to employers?[/italic] In: [italic]Varieties of capitalism. The institutional foundations of comparative advantage.[/italic] New York: Oxford University Press, 2001, II, p. 184–213
but instead
Isabela Mares, [italic]Firms and the welfare state: When, why, and how does social policy matter to employers?[/italic] In: [italic]Varieties of capitalism. The institutional foundations of comparative advantage.[/italic] a cura di Hall, Peter A., Soskice David, New York: Oxford University Press, 2001, II, p. 184–213
yes, i think the second one is better.

I've made the style.
Please test it out.
Let me know what needs fixing.

i tried the style, there are minor defects (spacing, punctuation)
in the object presentation:
Frederic Barbier, La biblioteca di fronte alla prima rivoluzione dei media, (2016)
with a missing space between (2016) and <http:
--------
in the object book:
when a field is void - as you can see here below esemplarevol.:
Tiziana Panizza Kassahun, Diritti umani in biblioteca: una storia esemplarevol. 58, 2016
but if the data are complete no problem appears:
Associazione Biblioteche oggi (a cura di), La biblioteca che cresce: contenuti e servizi tra frammentazione e integrazione. Milano: Editrice Bibliografica, 2019
these are the first checks but some more trials are needed for the other types

i inserted a book section item in AIB Studi style, which resulted in this string:
1. Jeannie Borup Larsen, A Survey of Library & Information Science Schools in Europe. In: , Copenhagen: The Royal School of Library and Information Science
as you can see the main book title is missing and the same is for the date and the URL.
all the missing data are present in the record: they appear if i insert the item in Chicago fullnote style:
Borup Larsen, Jeannie. «A Survey of Library & Information Science Schools in Europe». In European curriculum reflections on library and information science education. Copenhagen: The Royal School of Library and Information Science, 2005. http://arkiv.iva.ku.dk/hyperion/423.pdf.
what's strange, nevertheless, is that with selection on the item in the library, if i check this style inside "preferences, cite, style, preview" the sample corresponds to what i got in word; but if i open the style editor, the examples appear correct this way:
Jeannie Borup Larsen, «A Survey of Library & Information Science Schools in Europe», in European curriculum reflections on library and information science education (Copenhagen: The Royal School of Library and Information Science, 2005), http://arkiv.iva.ku.dk/hyperion/423.pdf.
where only the semicolon after in is missing.
thank you for your help
maurizio
they appeared right because the style editor was set to chicago
