Is there a way to delete uncited paper from the Zotero library?

I have been collecting articles for my research paper and compiled a bibliography. However, I'm sure there are articles that I didn't end up using that's still in the library.
Is there a way I can detect which ones I have cited and which one I have not in the Zotero library on my computer?
Thanks!

  • That's not possible, sorry. You can see items that aren't in any collections in the Unfiled Items view, though.
  • No -- but I also don't quite understand why that'd be necessary. Even if an item isn't cited in your particular paper, if you thought it was interesting, why not keep it in Zotero?
  • Initially the reason was so I can save some space online. I had over 250 sources but only cited 170. Now I realized I can sync my online library elsewhere. But thanks guys!
  • Just so you know, Item data (about the title, authors, etc.) doesn’t take up any storage space—only the attachment files (PDFs, etc.) take up storage space.
