Zotero extension for googledocs not working

Please can I have some help: My Zotero extension for googledocs is not working. When I search for a paper (that is in my computer library) only half of the papers are an option. I type in the author for another papers and it is not showing them as an option to add.
I have manually synced it already.

Let me know what else I can do!

    Are you saying you see items in Zotero on your computer (not on zotero.org) that don't appear when you search via the red bar? That would be very strange.

    Have you used the plugins for Word or LibreOffice on this computer? If so, does the search work for those?
