In-text Citations Problem for Word Plug-in APA
So typically APA's in-text citations involves only last name and the year of the source. But both Zotero and Mendeley somehow cites the authors' FULL name, I don't know why. Is there a way to edit this? Is there an updated citation rule for this?

bwiernikIt’s likely that you have your authors stored in Zotero as “First Last” in one field, rather than Last, First in the two-field author mode. In Zotero, click the bar icon to the right of the author name to switch from single-field (I.e., organization name) to two-field mode.

bwiernikAnother possibility is https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/given_name_disambiguation

waddupimstevenThanks! I fixed it now. It was the meta data and all of my authors was messed up after migrating from Mendeley somehow. I fixed it with connecting each one manually.
