Zotero and NVivo

Hi,

I get an error every time I try to export my files into .ris format. Do you know why this is happening?

Can you provide more details? Are you trying to export from Zotero or NVivo? What exactly is the error message?

But if Zotero throws an error exporting RIS, we'd definitely want an error ID, in addition to the actual error message:

I figured it out: I ran out of free Zotero space. Thank you all.

If by "free Zotero space" you mean Zotero file storage, that's not the case. Online file storage and the ability to export RIS are entirely unrelated, so any correlation between the two would be co-incidental.

Is the error from Zotero or from NVivo? Are you exporting your Zotero library in RIS format to analyze that text file with NVivo?

[Edit I haven't worked with NVivo for a long time but their tech support was always asking about the amount of RAM in the machine, other software open at the same time, and "freeing up" my RAM.]
