saw a red danger sign close to the sync button..clicked on it and followed the steps and here we are! the discussion title is the problem report ID. Thank you.

dstillmanUpgrade to Zotero 5.0.56 via Help → "Check for Updates…" and see if it still happens. If so, a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for Zotero startup through the error using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option would be helpful.
