DOI link returns incorrect citation
I have the DOI for a citation I wish to import into zotero. If I enter the identifier (https://doi.org/10.1177/0040571X9910200303) into the browser, it returns the correct article. However, in standalone zotero, when I choose "add item by identifier" and paste in the same DOI, it returns a citation for an article on myocardial infarction. Searching the forums, I have not found a similar problem.
Can anyone suggest a resolution?

bwiernikWhat’s likely happening is that when you copy-paste the DOI, it is picking up a space or other white space character (maybe a line break in a PDF), so Zotero ends up treating the part after the space as a PubMed ID.

philosophervaThank you for the explaination. That resolved the issue
