Plugin for Safari

I'm sorry if this is rudimentary, but I can't figure out how to install a Safai plugin. I don't use Firefox anymore and so I use Zotero Standalone, but still want to be able to click an icon on Safai to input books/articles from Amazon/Google Books/etc. What am I missing?
