Plugin for Safari

I'm sorry if this is rudimentary, but I can't figure out how to install a Safai plugin. I don't use Firefox anymore and so I use Zotero Standalone, but still want to be able to click an icon on Safai to input books/articles from Amazon/Google Books/etc. What am I missing?

The Safari extension is listed at the right, below Standalone, here:
https://www.zotero.org/download/
in Safari, you just just be able to click it and get prompted to install. Does that not work?

I am encountering the exact same problem. I can write and cite but I cannot save references in my zotero library....
