Unable to download PDF with Chrome connector
Hi,
I recently tried to download a PDF from:
http://www.nature.com.gate2.inist.fr/articles/s41593-018-0104-6.pdf
(the 'gate2.inist.fr' is the extension corresponding to the proxy of my institution, it's worked mostly fine until today) by clicking on the Chrome Zotero Connector button, and got the following error:
"Saving to My Library
An error occurred while saving this item. See Troubleshooting Translator Issues for more information."
If I try to download the PDF directly from Nature's platform (as opposed to the specific PDF webpage): http://www.nature.com.gate2.inist.fr/articles/s41593-018-0104-6,
I get no error message but instead the popup says "Saving to My Library..." and it's finally able to download the webpage snapshot but not the PDF (a red cross appears next to the line corresponding to the PDF's status).
When I hover the mouse over the Zotero Connector icon, it says "Save to Zotero (Nature Publishing Group)" and the icon looks like the PDF could be saved (as usual, it turns from a basic webpage icon to an "article page" icon, as soon as I correctly log in to my proxy).
I followed all the steps from the Troubleshooting page, none seemed to work, so I finally got the Debug ID: D2030477786.
Do you have any suggestion to help me?
Thanks a lot!
Emma

If you right-click the zotero button on http://www.nature.com.gate2.inist.fr/articles/s41593-018-0104-6.pdf and in Save to Zotero select "Save to Zotero (PDF)" does it work?
The PDF saving from http://www.nature.com.gate2.inist.fr/articles/s41593-018-0104-6 does fail consistently (5/5 attempts)
Right-clicking the zotero button on http://www.nature.com.gate2.inist.fr/articles/s41593-018-0104-6.pdf and selecting "Save to Zotero (PDF) does work.
So problem half-solved, thanks!
Would you have an explanation for that?
Article page (failed saving): D1263374697
Proper PDF save: D655305329
(I cleared the logging output between the two, hope this is ok.)
Debug ID for failed saving from Nature's platform http://www.nature.com.gate2.inist.fr/articles/s41593-018-0104-6 : D515344619
ID for successful saving from http://www.nature.com.gate2.inist.fr/articles/s41593-018-0104-6.pdf : D59688968
Thanks!
It's already quite an improvement, so, thank you!
