Citation error message

I have had Zotero for years but beginning just yesterday I can't seem to import a footnote citation into my MS Word document. I keep getting the following error message --
citations[j-i].sorted|items.slice(...)[0] is undefined

I have tried re-downloading and updating the Firefox connector and the insert into MS Word choice under preferences and "cite" Can anyone please help me resolve this? Thanks.

    Which Zotero version, Word version, which citation style, and does this also happen in a new document?

    I have Zotero 5.0.37
    I am using MS Word 2016 (360 Subscription)
    Citation style is Chicago Manual 17th edition full note
    No, it did not happen in a new document. However, it only started happening yesterday and I have been adding citations for months.

    @H0neybee2 You can install the Zotero beta build, which includes a fix for this issue. You can install it over your current Zotero installation, your data will remain intact. We will have the fix out in Zotero proper soon.
