Word can't read Zotero references anymore - they now appear as code
Dear all,
When I opened my dissertation file today, I was unpleasantly surprised to see that all the Zotero references I had inserted in the document had been replaced by code : [HYPERLINK: etc]. This transformation appears in all my word documents. I can insert new references but they all appear as code.
Zotero 5.0.35.1
Windows 7
Word 2007
Thank you so much for your help!
Best,
Bella

damnationPotentially has to do with the fact that you have the fieldcodes turned on. https://wiki.windward.net/Returning_Users/AutoTag/Learn_More_about_AutoTag/Template_Help/Microsoft_Word_Field_Codes_and_How_to_Hide//Show_Them
-
adamsmithOr Zotero's own documentation page for this: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/word_field_codes
