Possible to restore files if deleted from the trash bin?

dear all

i unintentionally did a very bad mistake: instead of deleting a file from a folder, i deleted it from the trash bin!
also, i saw that my zotero was already synchronized with the internet, meaning that my online zotero account doesn't have this file in its trash bin either.

now, i wanted to ask the zotero community if there is anything i can do in order to get these files i deleted?

thanks in advance for your help!
best regards

    See: https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data

Please, consider buying a large external drive and using it as a system backup. Both Windows and Mac have automatic backup programs built in with the operating system. A sufficiently large external drive can be had for US$100-150. For example, with TimeMachine on a Mac, you can simply and easily go to a version of your Zotero data as it existed before you made the mistake of deleting the records. I can say, without a doubt, buying an external backup drive was the best purchase decision I ever made.
  • yeah, I'm afraid beyond a local back-up there's nothing that'll work here.
