Sharing a Zotero document with an Endnote user

I wrote an introduction of a paper and sent it to an Endnote user. They would like to use their existing endnote library but it seems when they enter a reference a seperate list is created. Can I convert the Zotero references to Endnote so they can use their library?
  • no, sorry, there's no way to co-author with Endnote (which uses proprietary technology that may well be illegal to try to emulate) and Zotero

To spell out adamsmiths comment, converting Zotero references to an EndNote-readable format would come close to emulating the behaviour of EndNote, which given the litigious stance of EndNote's owner Thomson Reuters could well be a legal problem.

This won't help you, but just for the record, seen from the perspective of Zotero (free as in libre and great in its support for open standards), nothing stands in the way of EndNote converting its references to be more compatible with Zotero; you or your colleague might try requesting that.
