Reference Numbering
When I add new references early in my document, the numbering of the later references updates, but it is also added to the previous number. For example.
If I start with these two sentences:
Sentence A (1). Sentence B (2).
Then I decide to add a third sentence in between the first two with a new citation:
Sentence A (1). New Sentence (2). Sentence B (23).
*New Sentence inserts a new reference #2.
*Sentence B should only have the (3) reference after, but the '2' from before remains.
The citation for Sentence B will not automatically update to "3" as it should, but instead, the three is added, and the two also remains. Is there a way to fix this without manually changing all the reference numbers?
Thanks!

adamsmithAlso, does this happen in a new document or is this specific to this one? If the latter, have a look at https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#debugging_broken_documents, in particular I'd be looking at track changes and references in tables.
