footnote formatting problems
I've installed all the updates Zotero; I'm using Word for Mac 16.9. The style I'm using is Society of Biblical Literature 2nd edition (full note).
Since installing the updates, Zotero inserts the footnote as "Author, page number" when I expect it to insert "Ibid." When I click Add/Edit Citation, then enter (to reinsert the footnote without changing it), it alters the footnote to the long-form format (author's full name, full title [publication info], page number). When I click Refresh, it reverts to "Author, page number." It never says "Ibid."
Is this an error?
Thank you!!

I don't know that much about SBL, but we consulted with a couple of biblical researchers/experts on the style before making the switch.
I've had some additional correspondence with SBL Press about the implications of CMS17 for SBLHS2. According to SBL Press, SBLHS2 defers to CMS17 "in matters not explicitly covered in SBLHS2 or on the SBLHS2 blog."
One of the points that is covered on the blog is the continued use of "ibid." I could be wrong, but given the Press's comment that I quoted above, it sounds like this is meant to continue for the time being until they release a change to this element of the style on the blog or in SBLHS3.
Given these factors, would it be possible to get "ibid." back into the SBL style?
Thank you so much for considering this request!
