Zotero endnotes in MS Word: endnotes running off the page

I made endnotes in MAC Word 2011 using Zotero with no problem (click & drag cites to endnote method).

BUT when a colleague edited the document in MS Wod, it freaked out: it inserted Author/Word in the body by the endnote #,
and the endnotes shifted to small footnote font size and ran off the page.

Please help!

    What versions of Word (specific version, such as Word 2016 version 16.9) and Zotero? The just-released version of Word for Mac 2016 (version 16.9) broke several parts of the Zotero plugin, which the Zotero developers are currently working on fixing.
