RSS feed from Pubmed and import problems

I found some problems using a RSS feed from Pubmed. The first names/surnames are reversed, the publisher is not present and the abstract is not displayed properly. However, when I import the same reference from the RSS into my library everything is correct. Is there a way to fix it? Thank you, Corrado

    Those problems are most likely in the feed itself, but you'd have to provide an example URL for us to tell.

    When you go to save, Zotero actually fetches the page and does a normal save rather than using the feed data (which is often incorrect), which is why you're seeing correct data at that point.

    I'm afraid Zotero is doing its best with what the feed includes. The description field in the feed includes HTML text that Zotero cannot and will not interpret properly. No publisher field is present. And there's no real standard in RSS for specifying author names, but it's generally `firstName lastName`. Zotero is doing its best and "fixing" the order here would break a lot of other feeds.
