Upgrade Storagecutting and pasting

i wanted to know that when i cut some lines which contains some citations (for example citations 6 and 7) and paste it in the previous pages , how can i change or update the numbers assigned to the citations .for example at first, the citations numbers in the context are in this order:4,5,6,7,8,9 but after cutting and pasting , the citations numbers in the context are in this order:6,7,4,5,8,9
