flexible order in multiple sources
I have a problem with multiple sources using Chicago styles (I think that it also happens with other styles). For instance, I want to use "multiple sources" in the Zotero plugin to cite Zhang 1995, Thomas 2005 and Gaudry 1990.
When I choose them randomly, Zotero gives me the same order as I have chosen. For instance, if I pick Zhang, then Thomas, then Gaudy, the result is (Zhang 1995; Thomas 2005; Gaudry 1990). The point is that Zotero does NOT sort according to a specific style requirement.
What I want is that if a style requires multiple sources to be sorted according to year, then Zotero can automatically produce: (Gaudry 1990; Zhang 1995; Thomas 2005), regardless of what order I chose in the plugin. Similarly, if I switch to another style that requires multiple sources to be sorted according to names, then Zotero can automatically re-produce: (Gaudry 1990; Thomas 2005; Zhang 1995).
I don't know if Zetero can do this. Please help me with this.
Thanks.
