Upgrade StorageMissing data
I understand there has been a change to the Firefox and Zotero platform.
My resources are still shown in my library but I no longer have access to all of the files (PDF). The whole layout seems to be different and I am no longer able to use a split screen.
I don't mind if I need to move to Chrome. I have downloaded Zotero 5.0 for Windows and experience the same thing.

Zotero is a Standalone app now, so the browser is mostly irrelevant -- completely irrelevant for accessing your data.
You'd have to say more about not being able to access files -- what error message do you get, are you sure the files where on the computer before, is there any pattern to missing files, etc.
