Automatic database backup files

  • In your response, I have a question regarding "swap in the older DB...".

    I don't use sync function.
In my DB folder I have some files like these:

    1)zotero.sqlite 118.2 M 2017-10-19 13:24 -a--
    2)zotero.sqlite.bak 118.2 M 2017-10-19 09:39 -a--
    3)zotero.sqlite.1.bak 118.0 M 2017-10-18 09:19 -a--
    4)zotero-item-history.sqlite.bak 128.0 k 2013-02-24 20:09 -a--
    5)zotero-item-history.sqlite.1.bak 128.0 k 2013-02-24 07:25 -a--

I think my current DB is 1) zotero.sqlite.

What are 2) and 3) ? Are these older DBs?

    And 4), 5)...

If I want to go back to latest DB, what do I use, 2) or 3)?

    Thanks.

Yes, 2 and 3 are automatic backups Zotero made over the last two days. (This is configurable in the hidden prefs.) 4 and 5 are from a plugin you installed, not Zotero itself.

    Then...
extensions.zotero.backup.interval---1440 means every 24 hours, and
    extensions.zotero.backup.numBackups--2 means number of backups.

Can I edit, for example, the number of backup to 5 or else?
Backup after 1440 minutes means "backup after the last saving of current DB"?
    -------------
Even if I set interval to 1, new backups were not created.
