Upgrade StorageNS_ERROR_FILE_NAME_TOO_LONG Sync error

I am encountering an error during syncing which states the following:
Component returned failure code: 0x80520011 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NAME_TOO_LONG) [nsIFile.create]
I am using Zotero 5.0.23 on Ubuntu 17.10, although the error appears on my other computers as well, running Debian 9.
I'd be happy to debug/provide necessary logs if instructed to do so.

You can xxx out identifying info if you want to, but please keep the number of xs the same as replaced characters
