    Can you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for a sync attempt that produces this error?

    OK, the sync error is hopefully fixed in the latest 5.0 Beta. You should also check your database integrity from the Advanced → Files and Folders pane of the Zotero preferences after upgrading to the new version.

    Once it's working again, you can switch back to 5.0.22.

    Did the Advanced check of database you suggested, too.
    Is it necessary to go back to 5.0.22, or can I stay with this 5.0 Beta, as it seems to work?

    You can stay on the beta if you're comfortable doing so, but you'll receive more frequent updates and are more likely to run into minor glitches (but you'll also receive fixes sooner).
