I have Zotero Connector on Chrome and have started to get the following message:
New Private Key. An application would like to connect to your account. The application Zotero Connector would like to access your account. Create a new private key to share with a third party so they can access your data.
I've never seen this message before. Why am I getting this message? What third party is this? Thanks!

But you need a zotero.org API key to save directly to the Zotero server if Standalone is closed.
(You would only get the above message if you explicitly tell the connector to save to zotero.org when it detects that Zotero is unavailable. That message about a third-party is indeed confusing, though — we'll try to clarify that when you're coming from the connector itself.)
