Citation style so not match journal

Hello,
I am trying to prepare a manuscript for Molecular Ecology but the citation style that I download do not match this journal. Could you let me know how can I fix this problem or if it is a problem from the source?

Thank you for your help.
Cheers, Natalia
  • Can you point out the differences so we can fix it or if it's completely off?
  • Thank you for the quick answer.
I checked again to give you the details of the differences and it looks like Molecular Biology changed the citation style (really convenient). The only "mistake" or difference that I found now is in the bibliography, at the end of the references the “doi” appeared. I don’t know if this can be fixed or I have to delete it manually.
    Thanks again!
  • Springer journals generally prefer for you to include DOIs even if they don't end up in the printed reference list. I'd leave it in.
