The translator popup in the right corner of the screen doesn't hide automatically

Could it be possible to set a, let's say, 5 second timer after which the popup disappears automatically, if not I am obliged to click it (at least on OS Yosemite)

    That is probably the pop up for the Zotfile plugin, not Zotero itself. This is a known bug that the Zotfile developer is working on. In the mean time, you can fix it manually by opening the Zotero Config Editor (Advanced pane of preferences), searching for “extensions.zotfile.info_window_duration”, and changing both results to 5000.
