Zotero not compatible with firefox 47.0

I have tried to install zotero connector for firefox. However, the following error message is displayed : Zotero not compatible with firefox 47.0
Have you encountered the same issue ? How can I solve it ?

    That means what it says -- you'll need to update Firefox to at lease version 52ESR

    Firefox 47 is a very old, outdated version of the browser. It no longer receives security updates and is generally not safe to use.
