Synchronisation problem - can I go back to a .bak file in Zotero directory?
Hey everyone,
I am synchronizing my local Zotero directory with a cloud service my university offers. Yesterday afternoon, there was an error message from said service about synchronization issues, and today I find myself with an older version of my Zotero database. My explanation for this is: The current version was not yet on the cloud server when I had to resynchronize the cloud service, and then my local copy was replaced with the older version from the cloud.
However, inside the Zotero directory, I found a file named "Zotero.sqlite (SFConflict [My University E-Mail adress] 2017-08-31-16-17-51).bak" Could this be the LOCAL version of my database from yesterday afternoon when the error occurred? And can I maybe switch back to that one or reactivate it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Note that you shouldn't keep your Zotero data directory in any sort of cloud sync location for this reason.
And: I will definitely better myself with my storage locations... Cheers!
