Problem installing value-in-health style from (null)

"An unexpected error occurred when installing from (null)" - when attempting to install Value in Health style - just updated to Zotero 5.0, but that did not fix the issue. Using Chrome, moved .csl file to desktop, didn't fix it. Any solution with a similar style will work, as this is the only one so far that has given an error.

    Note that in 5.0 you don't need to save the file to the desktop, though that should work (and does for me, albeit it with the incorrect "(null)" message, which we'll fix). You can install the style directly from the Styles preferences in Zotero or just by clicking on the style on the styles page with the Zotero Connector installed.

    But I'd guess that you saved it as an HTML file by accident. Just install the style one of the two other ways and this should work fine.

    Thank you dstillman, I definitely saved it as .csl and tried all the other suggestions but I can't install connector without requesting a security exception, which I did. In meantime, if you have a direct link to the connector file, I can install it, but I imagine the only link to the file is through the store. Thanks again!

    Yes, the Chrome connector is only available through the Chrome Web Store.

    What happens when you try to install the style directly from the Cite preferences?

    If this is an extremely locked-down machine, installing from a file indeed might not work, but installing via the preferences (or the connector) should still work.

    You didn't provide a Report ID above, but can you instead generate a Debug ID for an import attempt via the preferences?

    Hi dstillman, I had to revert to standalone 4, and I did try to generate a Debug ID for an import attempt via prefs, but there is a problem communicating with the Zotero server, so I am pasting in my debug output, sorry for the space and how it looks; no Debug ID could be generated.     Yes, that's due to security restrictions on your system preventing Zotero from access the network.

    In this case you can probably work around it by installing the elsevier-vancouver style first, because the one you're trying to install is just that with a different name, and it's failing when Zotero tries to download the parent one.

    But, of course, many things in Zotero won't work properly if it can't access the network.
