files won't save to Zotero standalone

I have recently updated to macOS Sierra and files won't save from Firefox to Zotero despite various update.

I have followed Zotero's recommendations and reached a Debug ID D1038448893.

Can anyone suggest a fix?

    Could you describe exactly what you're trying to do? Saving files how? Are you referring to this? https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/no_firefox_open_save_option

    You should upgrade to Zotero 5.0 and the new Zotero Connector for Firefox — we're not able to debug issues in Zotero 4.0 for Firefox. If you're still having trouble after that, provide another Debug ID from the Firefox connector and we can investigate.

    Thanks both. Fixed now. The new Zotero connector for firefox (+upgrade to 5.0) seemed to have sorted the problem.

    I have also set up for connection with Safari which is working nicely at the moment.
