Failing to sync after installing Zotero version 5 [Error id: 1141607443]

Hi

I installed the latest version 5 release of Zotero and it now reports failures when trying to sync. I manually located the first file that it reported as missing thinking it was a one-off but it looks like it will fail on every file.

  • It's not every file — you have some old files with invalid characters in their filenames (e.g., "|"). These days we filter those out properly on all platforms, but we didn't always, and 5.0 was getting hung up on them. This should already be fixed in 5.0.2, available via Help -> Check for Updates
  • Ah, that update must have become available only hours after I installed v5! Now updated and problem solved - many thanks Dan.
