[5.0 Beta] Zotero Firefox Logo Blank

Hi,

I'm on Mac OS X (10.10.5 (14F2411)) and since the update to Zotero 5.0, the Zotero icon in Firefox disappear even though it is "here". I mean the place for the "save to Zotero" exists, but the logo doesn't show and doesn't work.

I've updated Zotero Beta to the last version (5.0-beta.232+2ba773d61), as well as Firefox (54.0.1), Zotero Connector (5.0.7).
I tried reinstalling the Connector from Zotero Standalone, but it didn't change anything.

When I try to log what happens using Zotero logs, it shows nothing.

What it doesn't show is that when I hover the cursor over the logo it shows the tooltip "Save to Zotero"...

    That's quite strange. Have you tried customizing the toolbar and moving the icon to other locations (e.g., the panel, where it'd be a larger size)?

    What's strange is that it's stopped working at the same as Privacy Badger the addon from the EFF.

    Yeah, this is likely a Firefox problem, or a problem caused by a legacy Firefox extension. The Zotero Connector is a WebExtension, so there's really nothing it can do to cause this.

    So you would suggest to start Firefox without any extensions than reactivate them one at the time, maybe?

    Thanks for your suggestions dstillman & adamsmith, I tried and there seems to be a strange interaction with RequestPolicy. So maybe I should report a bug over there (and there has been already a bug with Zotero https://github.com/RequestPolicyContinued/requestpolicy/issues/52)

    Ok I think I understood, I had problems because I was using the old version of RequestPolicy, not the Continued version, so with updates in both Zotero & Firefox it may have broken something at some point.

    Maybe we can close the subject now.
