The connector has to wait until the page has completely finished loading, which unfortunately on some pages can take quite a while. But this is entirely dependent on the webpage.

But I don't think it is loading issue.
The page load instantaneously. It took a while for the page icon to change to folder icon.
I can select to cite an article. But, it won't transfer to Zotero standalone. As if connector and standalone cannot communicate.
