Zotero searching only 'My Library'

Hello,
I've now got Zotero working with the thesis I am proofreading, so that's great. However, when I ask it to insert a citation it goes direct to 'My Library'. I want it to go to the collection I have started in the author's name, which is a sub-collection of 'My Library'. Could you let me know if there is a way of getting it to do this?

    You could use the classic insert citation dialog instead. Check the option under "Cite" in the Zotero preferences and it will default to that version, which shows the collection tree.

    You can't select a collection with the quick format bar, though.
