Plugin zotero for openoffice
Hello everyone,
After many hours of researches :
I can't get the plugin for openoffice. I am using :
- zotéro standalone 4.0.29.17 64 bits
- openoffice 4.1.3
- windows seven.
I uninstall then reinstall java, zotéro standalone, but nothing new :
The message is always the same : "zoterooppenoffice.org [...] requires the Java Runtime Environment. visit java.com ..."
Does anyone can help me ? Eternal recognition for whoever finds the solution ;)

fmuroedited April 4, 2017Install Libreoffice. Openoffice is way less supported these days, very few people use it, it was largely replaced with Libreoffice.

bwiernikYes, all of the major developers from OpenOffice have moved to LibreOffice (which is in many ways it's true successor). Many deleopers have urged Apache to retire the name OpenOffice since Apache isn't investing any resources in developing or maintaining it.

LiborAThe common problem is combination Zotero + Java + Libre/OpenOffice 64 bit vs. 32 bit. Check your version of Java. And of course the best way is migration to LibreOffice :-)
