Non-alphabetic numeric style in the bibliography
Hi,
I would like to have a numeric stlye in my bibliography which is not alphabetic, but according to the order in the text. So the first citation in the text should also have the number 1 and be on position 1 in the bibliography, the same with citation 2, 3 and so on.
At the moment the first citation in the text has maybe number 8 and consequently position 8 in the bibliography due to alphabetical reasons. But as I said it should have number 1 and position 1.
Does anyone know how to edit the bibliography or any other solution (citation style...).
Thank you very much.
Kind regards,
Toni

adamsmithMost numeric citation styles work that way, including the pre-installed Vancouver, Nature, and IEEE ones.

toni.bartlingOh great, thank you very much for the quick answer. I tried Vancouver style and now it's correct. :-)
