Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Disease style is not correct ...

I've updated Zotero with APJTD style. When I insert citation in Word with this style, references are put with first author name and publication year. But When I look a published paper of APJTD, the citation are a number between bracket ...
Any solution ?

This journal must be undergoing some ownership changes. It says on their website that since Jan 17 they are back with their original owner.
Do check out the various Elsevier styles on the repository: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=elsevier and let us know what you find. I can't access the journals, so if you provide some papers, that would be most helpful.

Yes. I've seen for the ownership changes. This journal seems linked to the Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine. Here is a link for authors guideline :

@ycaron, did you check whether the Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Disease and Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine use the same citation format?

Actually, @damnation, could you take a look at http://www.apjtcm.com/authors.html and e.g. http://oaji.net/articles/2017/3556-1488848986.pdf for a recent article from March 2017, and check if it's the same?

It is basically the same apart from that on http://www.apjtcm.com/authors.html they didn't put the necessary bits into italics or bold. As often I think that the editors of that page were not diligent enough (compare article-journal).

Agree; actual published article looks the same for the two styles, I'd handle them as dependents. It might actually make sense to check if that applies to all journals listed in the sidebar, i.e.
APJTB
APJR
APJTM
JAD
JCLM
and create an independent style named for thoese. I think they're all run out of Hainan Medical University.

@damnation, assuming all journals use the same citation format, can you create a parent "Hainan Medical University Journal Publisher" (http://www.hnmujp.org/) and make dependents for the journals? (that homepage lists 8 journals at the bottom, by the way)

(if there is variation in formats, it would probably be better to just pick one journal to be the parent and create dependents for the journals with matching format)
