adamsmithThere's no such thing as an "Index Medicus" style, but the term is sometimes used to refer to the Citing Medicine guidelines published by the National Library of Medicine (which also used to published the Index Medicus, which no longer exists). Long story short, the style is called "Vancouver" in Zotero, and there are multiple versions you can choose from https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=vancouver

bwiernik(I see this question often enough that I wonder if it's worth it to make a dependent style called Index Medicus?)

adamsmithIn my experience, "Index Medicus" suggests but doesn't reliably indicate Vancouver style. It mainly refers to the set of journal abbreviations to use, which can, of course, be used in other styles, too. So I'd rather not add a dependent style (also, there's the fact that it really would be a misnomer).
