PDF re-downloads instead of opening

    when i had just started using Zotero i could just double clik on the pdf in the library and it could open with fire using pdf viewer. but these days instead of opening it just downloads. How can i fix this, because opening the file ising the external viewer is time consuming as compared to double cliking on the material. Need your advice.
