Upgrade StorageLibrary just won't sync on my laptop, and I've tried everything

Title says it all. I have a new laptop, and am trying to sync my library via Firefox. The green sync button spins and spins, and nothing else happens. My library is not that big. I have correctly input user name and password in Preferences. (I used same credentials to access my library account online; it hovers over my unresponsive Firefox library in split screen mode.) I've logged on and off, restarted Firefox, etc. Nothing helps. What am I doing wrong?

Just this minute, it synced. How weird that it took all day - - I blame it on the election.
