Missing PDFs
Report ID : 1357540224
About half the PDFs stored within my zotero library seem to be missing.
When clicking on a PDF saved with an item in my library, I get the following message :
"The attached file could not be found. It may have been moved or deleted outside of Zotero." (well, the equivalent message in french)
What puzzles me is that the files in question are still stored where they are supposed to be, ie in C:\Users\Pauline\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ru61ij2w.default\zotero
Moreover, I don't know why some files were affected and others weren't. Both the missing and the unaffected files are still saved in the same place.
The issue occured after a firefox crash. Rather than re-installing zotero for firefox, I installed zotero standalone. It imported the zotero library and that's when I noticed the issue. I then tried to go back to zotero for firefox, but the issue persisted. (I don't have a new firefox profile).
If someone could help me figure what I did wrong I would be very grateful ! I could in theory re-attache manually all the missing files since they are still on my hard drive, but there are litterally hundreds of them...

Upgrade Storage
I didn't think it would apply, since firefox apparently had all the zotero data and storage copied, so I did not think it had actually refreshed, but the solution worked ! A lot of thanks, I don't think I would have thought to try that on my own, even thought retrospectively it is kind of obvious.
I decided to switch to standalone because I got panicky and not-so-rational, and thought to "protect" my zotero database from future firefox crashes.
Again thank you.
