Account name and password not recognized

  • Hello, I have a similar problem: I can't sync as the Sync Server is not recognising/ accepting my account name and password. I have requested a new password 2 times and changed it, and although I can log into my account, the Sync Server won't (red exclamation mark).
    Can anybody help/ tell me what I am doing wrong?

  • The answer here is almost always that the username and/or password are incorrect in the Sync pane of the preferences. I'd suggest clearing your username and password completely, restarting Zotero (which shouldn't be necessary), and reentering your credentials in the Sync pane.

    You should also provide a Report ID, just in case there's some other issue.
