Will Zotero add-in work with Word for Mac in 64-bit (version 15.25)?

I use the Zotero add-in for Word (currently version 15.24) on my Mac. Word wants me to update to 15.25 (released 17 August 2016), announcing that "this update introduces 64-bit Office for Mac."

I read on the forum that Zotero is not compatible with 64-bit Firefox, so I'm a little worried about this update. If I update Word to 64-bit, will I still be able to use the Zotero add-in in Word? Has anyone here tried this yet?

    Hi Kristine,

    FWIW, I am using Word 2016 for Mac (15.25) with 64-bit and I have been using it successfully so far. I have not done an exhaustive test, but I have been able to add citations and create bibliographies with no difficulty.

    Yes, it should work fine with 64-bit Office for Mac.
