Must I reenter Zotero citations when combining endnotes?

I am editing a book and want to combine multiple endnotes in certain paragraphs to one endnote at the end of the paragraph. For example, citations from notes 1, 2, and 3 will be included in note 4 placed at the end of the paragraph. All endnotes have been entered in Zotero. Can I cut and paste from 1, 2, and 3 to note 4? Or must I create note 4 as a multiple citation note and reenter all the data from 1, 2, 3? Any shortcuts you can suggest will be much appreciated. This is a long book! Thanks

pretty sure this, sorry. I don't have a good idea for a workaround, either. You could look at the field codes (at least in Word) and copy parts of those, but it's a bit finnicky. I do think we need to think about a merge option in the word add-ons.
