Upgrade StorageMoved PDFs to hard drive with Zotfile but Zotero Storage still full
Beginner Question:
I recently discovered Zotfile and used it to successfully rename PDFs and move them to a custom location on my hard drive. I believed this would free up storage space but I've reached maximum storage capacity. Links to PDFs, and in some cases snapshots have been retained. If the PDFs are no longer in Zotero, what is taking up all the space? How can I free up more space? I'm nervous about using the purge function and don't understand why it would be necessary.
