Keeping bibtex file synced with bibtex file

Hi there,

i tried around - but could not find out if there is a solution for me possible.

What i am trying to achieve:
- I use Zotero for managing scientific articles
+ i use Zotero for citing in libreoffice
- I use calibre for scientific books (mostly for a ebook-reader - so using zotero only is no solution)

So what i would want is to have the books from calibre available for citing.
- My idea so far: create a bibtex from calibre library.

Now i am trying to get this library into a zotero folder (books or similar) - and keep up-to-date.
My idea is something like: Creating a new bibtex from calibre every few month (books don't change so much) and have zotero update the books folder (best would be automated).

Is this possible - creating a folder that links to a bibtex file and recognizes updates there.
Or importing regulary and avoiding duplicates (my solutions so far are creating duplicates).

What is the best workaround for that?? Other solutions for getting a calibre library synced with zotero would also be fine.

Any idea/tip/help is appreciated
