Tweaking UI-Language / Bibliography-Language with Zotero 4.0.27

Configuration: OSX 10.7.5 / FF 38.0.5 / Zotero 4.0.27

Hi all,
In previous Versions of Zotero it was possible to change the language of the bibliography and/or the Zotero User Interface with different tricks that are described here:
https://www.zotero.org/support/supported_languages

Now I can't find the preference "extensions.zotero.export.bibliographyLocale" any more. I understand that now you can choose the language when selecting the style. But the style we use in our institution doesn't offer that.

So the general question is: Is there still a possibilty to change the Zotero UI-Language / Bibliography-Language in Zotero 4.0.27, and if yes - how?

Regards,
Frank

P.S.: Using the "Quick Locale Switcher" Firefox-AddOn does not seem to have any effect.
  • The UI language is still changed the same way. The bibliography language can now be changed in regular preferences:

  • >... The bibliography language can now be changed in regular preferences

But only if there are localized versions of a citation style(?)
I don't get a pulldown-menu when using ou style, see:
    http://www.screencast.com/t/UFBhdg4e
  • Many citation styles have default locales set in the style. Those have always overridden anything you set in Zotero. The FH Voralberg Style has always been in German, no matter what you did in Zotero (if they didn't, that would have been a bug.)

You can only set the language for styles without a locale set in the style itself -- that's mostly generic styles like Chicago, APA, and Vancouver.
